Best Time For Bonaire Diving

When ever you plan diving trip in Bonaire you must keep in mind the best times and the type of conditions you prefer diving in. The water temperatures in the Caribbean waters are around 78 - 84°F (25.6 - 28.9°C) and the visibility of the water is about 100 feet or 30 meters and you may even bee able to see up to 150 feet or 55 meters when the conditions are favorable.

The water temperature varies from summer to winter. The summer is long and starts in April and ends in November; the temperature of the Caribbean Sea is around 81- 84°F (27-29 °C). In winter that lasts from December to March, the average temperature remains between 78-80°F (25-26°C).

The monsoon can be experienced from late October through to December. The rain showers don't last longer than 5 to 15 minutes and are interspersed with many hours of bright sunshine!
